The window treatment business runs in my family; starting in 1947, my grandfather, Edgar Daugherty, opened his first custom window treatment business. His business has remained open and active in our family for over 60 years.
As a member of the family, I worked in the family business building, repairing and installing all types of window treatments. Upon graduation from college, I returned to the family business, where I learned the full scope of the window treatment business. Five years later the entrepreneurial spirit within me called upon me to start my own business. |
